A Quinceanera Mexico Cruise For Your Party

How exciting to celebrate your coming-of-age with a cruise to Mexico! Your first decision is which part of Mexico you'll visit. You also need to pick how long your cruise will be and who else will go. Then you can begin planning what aspects of the traditional Quinceanos you will include.

First you need to talk with your parents about what kind of trip they can afford. Cruises to Mexico can be from three to fourteen days! And once you know how long you will travel, you need to know how many people your parents are prepared to include in the trip. For some people it will just be your immediate family to celebrate this special event. Others are able to include aunts, uncles, cousins, and even friends. When you sit down and have this conversation with your parents, you have to be mature about accepting the budgeting limitations they set.

The next part is more fun-you get to look at destination choices! If you live in the eastern part of the United States you will likely travel to Miami, Florida, or Galveston, Texas, to board your cruise ship. Once you are on board, your ports of call will include points on the Yucatan peninsula like Cozumel or Cancun.

For a four-day cruise, for example, you would leave Tampa, Florida, cruise to Cozumel, and then cruise back. Most of these cruises depart early in the evening. On your first evening you can explore the ship's activity spots such as its swimming pool and other sports venues like a basketball court or a rock-climbing wall. Maybe you can go dancing! Cruise ships are set up to accommodate both adult and teenage parties.

On Day Two the ship's staff can arrange for your actual celebration-of course you've requested this ahead of time. You can visit the beauty salon in the morning, with the religious service in the afternoon, followed by dinner and then a full evening of partying. By the time you arrived in Cozumel on Day Three, you'll be ready for anything, from shopping for souvenirs to playing in the ocean with dolphins! On your last day, cruising back to Miami, there will be plenty of time to memorialize your celebration and pick out additional ship's activities to try.

If you live in the western half of the States, then you'll travel to California and depart from Los Angeles or Long Beach. These cruise ships travel down along the Pacific coast to the Mexican Riviera, where you will visit places like Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas, or Ensenada. The Pacific coast of Mexico is a little less humid than the eastern side. If money is no object, you can even choose a 14-day Panama Canal trip that goes from Los Angeles, with a stop at Manzanilla, and then other Caribbean ports of call, a stop in Miami, and back again!

You'll plan on a departure early Friday evening with arrival in Ensenada on Saturday morning. The day in Ensenada will stretch out before you with endless possibilities: how about a cooking excursion for you, your mom, and any other females in your trip; your dad and any men can go fishing! There are also tours that show you wonderful sights such as blow holes-no wise cracks! These are spectacular displays of Nature where pressure in the earth shoots water high up into the air! You can also visit a movie studio there, tour the coastline, or pick from loads of other choices. When you return to your ship early on Saturday evening there will be plenty of time to begin your celebration and spend hours partying. Sunday can be a day when you all enjoy cruising at sea and exploring the ship and its activities; and then you land, or debark, on Monday morning.

On some cruises, all of the passengers are Quinceaneras and their families! These cruises accommodate lots of families at once, so you don't go on your exact birthday, but you are traveling with lots of girls who are celebrating just like you are. It can be a lot of fun to be part of a ceremony when a lot of girls are presented together! Some cruise lines offer pre-cruise orientations for you and your folks. Then, on the day of the cruise, the ship's staff welcomes everyone with a get-acquainted party. Everything is geared toward your celebration. There is a rehearsal opportunity, and amenities such as videoing are available. To launch the actual celebration, all of the girls are presented at a ball, and they dance with their fathers. Cruises like these are often as lengthy as seven days so that all of the preparations and festivities can be included. Ports of call include a stop in Mexico as well as other Caribbean favorites. There is usually another party on the night before you debark.

You really are limited only by your imagination, no matter what your budget. Mexican cruises are available all year long, so you can do this no matter when your birthday is. There are all kinds of packages; one of them is guaranteed to fit your family's style and budget. This is a special time in your life, and you want to make the most of it!
