How To Plan a Quinceanera DinnerIf you are planning your Quinceanera, no doubt you are excited and overwhelmed, all at the same time. There is much to do and a lot of planning. Of course one thing you'll need to plan out is the food that is going to be served at the party. When it comes to the food, if your family is choosing to make and serve the food, you really have a lot of planning to do. Sure, it will be a bit of work for everyone involved, but it can be a lot of fun to plan, make, and serve the food for your Quinceanera. Of course it's time to start planning now though. Your Quinceanera is no doubt going to be a time when people can mingle together and have a wonderful time. You don't have to go to a lot of expense in order to have a great dinner that will be tasty and beautiful for the event. One of the first things you are going to have to decide on is how much you can afford to spend. You need to have a budget for the dinner so you know beforehand how much money you can spend on the food. Once you knew the budget, make sure that you stick to it. It will definitely be helpful to consider how many people are going to be attending as well. This can make a difference on the cost and the amount of food that you are going to need. Figure out your guest list so you have an idea of how many people you are going to need to feed at your Quinceanera. After you know how many people are going to be coming, it's time to start coming up with a menu. Figuring out this ahead of time can save a lot of money and panic later on. Come up with a menu that is simple but delicious. You don't have to go with expensive foods to have a tasty dinner for all of your guests. Once you know what your menu is going to be, it's time to start purchasing the food. It's best to start making those purchases ahead of time if possible, unless it's something that will spoil. If you want to save money, check out discount grocery stores or wholesale stores where you can get larger amounts of food for a great deal. Now it's time to have a plan of action. Since you have the food purchased, you need to come up with a schedule that includes when the food is going to be made. Some foods may be able to be made ahead of time and frozen until the day of the Quinceanera. Other foods may need to be made the night before or the day of the party. Make sure you figure this out ahead of time so that you're not left in a bind right before everything takes place. Remember that the decorating is going to be up to you as well. You'll need to figure out if you are going to have tables or just chairs for your guests. If you do have tables, you'll need table linens and you'll also need to have plates, cups, and cutlery as well. Make sure you figure this into your budget. Decide whether or not you are going to have the food served up by your family and friends or whether you are going to have a buffet style dinner. When you are doing the cooking yourself, sometimes it can be a lot easier to go ahead and do the dinner in a buffet style so that everyone can serve yourself and you don't have to worry about having enough people to serve your guests. While it will definitely be a bit of work to plan a dinner for your Quinceanera, it will be worth your time. It will take some time, but with everyone helping out and a good plan behind you, it should all go smoothly. Keep these suggestions in mind and everything should go wonderfully for your Quinceanera dinner.
