Get the Perfect Eyebrows for Your QuinceaneraAre you ready for the best party of your life? Well, you have to look cool and pretty on your quinceanera. Take note though that the first things that people will look at once they see you are your face and eyes. So you have to do something to make your eyes look more appealing and expressive. One effective way to enhance those beautiful is to match it with some polished and shapely eyebrows. They say that brows are to the eyes the same way that the frame is to a photograph. Women also use their eyebrows to communicate with the opposite sex. Consequently, well-arched and delicately tamed eyes speak of how well we take care of and value ourselves. So what is a girl like you to do? Would you want to try waxing? Nah, waxing can leave too much space between your eyebrows. Besides, tweezing or threading is more precise. Remember though that eyebrow plucking is an art. You gotta have the skill, ingenuity, and tons of patience to get the desired look for your eyebrows. Go and get those slant edge tweezers and take the first step to beautiful brows. First, you got to start clean by wiping your tweezers with alcohol. Then, reach for a cotton pad and swab a gentle make up remover, astringent, or witch hazel on your brows to cleanse and slightly numb them. Never apply lotion on your brows before plucking as this will make the brows slick and things will be difficult for you. Second, you can't just start plucking without getting your natural brow shape first. Try to see where your eyebrows start and end. Then measure the arch that is usually aligned with the iris of your eyes. It will help a lot to have bright lighting and a magnifying mirror in this case. Next, brush your eyebrows into place, mark it off and draw on it with a white eye liner. This will serve as your guide. Now you can start plucking those that fall outside the mark. Do it real nice and slow so you won't mistakenly pull other hairs or leave holes to appear after plucking. During the process, all the tweaking may give you a little bit of sting. But don't worry. Once you become an eyebrow expert, you will not feel any of that anymore. The trick is to hold the skin right above the brow while plucking. Be careful also that you grab the hair of your brows and not the skin! This can happen often when one is not too cautious and may result in redness or bleeding. If it ever happens though, you can wash your face with cold water afterwards then put on some cold eye mask. The third step is to wash off the white liner that you used and check if your brows are now flawless. If you feel the need to pluck some more, you may do so. Just don't leave very thin eyebrows that will make you look like a sick patient or a much older woman. Remember not to overpluck or you will have to wait for the hair to grow again to avoid the surprised look on your face. If there are spaces between the hairs, you may soften it with some brown eye shadow. After that, you can trim thick eyebrows using crisscross movements with your scissors so they become more attractive. You may also opt to lighten your brows 3 shades lighter if you have dark hair. Brow gels likewise keep them in place all day or all night long. Plucking can cause a bit of soreness so you may apply some tea tree oil on it to soothe the skin. For maintenance, keep an eyebrow brush on your makeup kit to ensure that it always well-formed. You may also opt to put on some colored mascara to enhance it a little bit. Now, if this is your first eyebrow plucking venture, it is assured that you will have your next. The hairs in your brows will start to grow again and you need to clean it up. But for sure, you will get better and better and more beautiful each week, just in time for your exhilarating quinceanera!
